strong in spirit, graceful in love, forthright in truth
“You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” -Isaiah 62:3
The Tiara Project was originally created to be used by God to validate women and girls whose lives have been filled with neglect and abuse, resulting in shattered hearts and feelings of worthlessness. As empty as these women felt, we were able to impact their hearts and minds by revealing to them their tremendous value and dignity in Christ with a tangible respresentation of that: real tiaras. With these tiaras we would hold “crowning ceremonies,” guiding them as they accept who Christ says they are and affirm that over themselves. The good news we share has traveled to retirement homes, assisted living homes, orphanages, homeless shelters, and even coffee shops and restaurants and living rooms. We share with women that they are Daughters of the King, explaining that the tiara represents the way their Heavenly Father sees them: royalty, a warrior, a princess, beautiful, strong, dignified, honored, worthy. With every Crowning we have seen the lives of women and girls powerfully changed.
We know that every woman and girl, no matter her story, deserves to know her incredible worth… But our mission does not stop there. As The Tiara project has grown and evolved, our purpose is not only to give all women and girls, no matter their age or walk of life, tangible evidence of how God sees them, but also to help them to learn what it is to be strong in the Lord and His might. We want to show them how to experience the fullness of the freedom that comes with knowing and believing their identity as a Daughter of the King, because with this freedom comes confidence to carry out her purpose and put on the Armor of God in its entirety. Our vision is to see a remnant transform into an uproar; to see a remnant of strong women of God multiply and become an uproar that creates an army of Daughters who will not be moved by the world. Our aim is to help create generations of women who are strong in spirit and choose to fight alongside the King of Kings. “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace.”
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
-Isaiah 40:31
